Hello and welcome! We are the Piper family, Andrew, Brianna and Vivienne, and we are based out of Tacoma, Washington. We have been involved in the dachshund breed since 2010, when we rescued our first dachshund, named Buster. Since then we have raised many beautiful healthy puppies and sent them to magnificent, loving homes.
We are ethical, responsible breeders, and our main goal is to better the dachshund breed. To do this, our program works on health, structure, and temperament. We use Embark for all our DNA testing needs. You can learn about specific health testing for the dachshund breed at the Canine Health Information Center (CHIC).
We absolutely love the rainbow of colors dachshunds permit us to achieve with their genetics. We focus on chocolate, cream, red, and black, in points, piebald, brindle, and dapple. We do not breed for wires, or standards, although sometimes we'll have a pup grow to be over fifteen pounds.
